A PAL is a Gaisce - the President's Award Leader. It can be a teacher, Youth
leader or any adult (other than a family member) who is interested
in helping the development of young people.
The PAL does four things:
They explain the award to potential participants
They agree an appropriate challenge with interested young people
They monitor/motivate the participants once per month at minimum
They sign off when participants complete the award
