As a fundamental value we espouse the importance of people.
We recognise the importance of the work of the President's Award
Leaders (PALs) and other volunteers. We will strive to meet
their needs and those of the young people participating in
the Award.

To be open, transparent, equitable and fair in all we do.
Young People Focused
We believe that all young people are of equal value and
should be treated with respect, encouraged to make their own
decisions and set their own challenges.
Equity of Treatment and Respect for Diversity
We are committed to ensuring that young people have equality
of opportunity regardless of difference. We encourage respect
for diversity and advocate the appreciation of difference as
something that can enrich us.
Excellence
We will focus on achieving the highest possible standards and
strive for continuous improvement in all elements of the delivery
of the Award, particularly in regard to the implementation of
child protection policy and our own code of ethics.
